The annual Field Trip/Staff Ride is to Thompson's Station and Spring Hill in Tennessee on Saturday, October 24th, 2026. The bus will depart the parking lot of the Starbucks a Mid-City at 7:00 AM. This is a one-day trip and we will be returning that evening. John Scales will once again be our tour guide as we learn of the Battle of Thompson's station that occurred on March 5, 1863, followed by the Battle of Spring Hill from November 29, 1864.
Participants should pack a lunch as there will be limited time and little opportunity to purchase anything. Water will be available on the bus. |
