Join me for this bookbinding workshop using papers, threads, and a cracker box, cereal box, or other similar recycled paper for the book covers. The French Stitch looks elegant on the exposed spine of the book; providing a strong and decorative binding. Students will prepare their own covers, text blocks (book pages), and sew these together into a lovely journal for writing, drawing, or other creative endeavors. These books make lovely gifts as well! |
