Join us for a talk with Emily Tyner, Director of Freshwater Strategy at UW-Green Bay. Emily is coordinating the effort to have the bay of Green Bay designated as a National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR), a designation that will open up a variety of new conservation, research, and educational opportunities. Part of the area to be part of this new NERR includes land protected by NEWLT. Emily will share with us more information about the NERR program, updates on the designation process, and what kinds of opportunities we can look forward to. |
