In this course, educators will deepen understanding what the Science & Engineering Practice of Planning and Carrying Out Investigations is and is NOT. Educators will engage with effective instructional strategies for supporting students in planning and carrying out investigations, such as scaffolding for fair tests and identifying questions and ways to investigate our questions. Educators will also explore how this SEP is integrated into the Arizona Science Standards and discover what this practice looks like for each grade-band (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12). |
