Trust is the glue that binds an organization, team and family together. As women emerge into positions of leadership it is imperative for them to be known as a high trust leader. Being a trusted leader is the X factor in achieving business and personal goals.

Gwen Webber-McLeod, President/CEO works with women leaders across the country. As she observes them lead it is clearer than ever before there is a business case for developing trust in a company and for women leaders to be known as “highly trusted leaders” in organizations and businesses. In fact, she believes trust is a strategic business resource. Where there are high levels of trust, there is also high levels of performance. However few women leaders and companies recognize trust is only available when individual leaders are developed to regularly engage in three important actions:

1.    Inspiring others to trust them

2.    Extending trust to others

3.    Restoring trust where it has been broken

This presentation is inspired by Stephen M.R. Covey’s book The Speed of Trust: The One Thing That Changes Everything. This presentation uses Covey’s concepts to help women leaders recognize the value of building trust in them, a company or organization as a strategic business resource.

During this highly interactive presentation participants will:

  • Develop understanding of personal and organizational trust and its connection to business outcomes.

  • Review Covey’s 13 Behaviors of high trust leaders and why it is important to develop these qualities as women leaders and entrepreneurs.

  • Discuss applying presentation concepts and skills in day-to-day life as a woman leader.
