Bonus Walk with FOTP in 2023: Ping Tom Memorial Park

October 21, 2:00pm to 3:00pm

During 2023, Friends of the Parks is organizing free monthly walks at parks around Chicago for 2 hours of fresh air, movement, and camaraderie while also spotlighting local advocacy issues.

This October's “Bonus Walk” brings us to Chinatown’s Ping Tom Park. After the Not-So-Spooky Stroll, our Park Advisory Council friends are hosting a 3:15pm celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Leonard M. Louie Fieldhouse, followed by Trunk or Treat and and other family activities from 4-5pm. During our walk, we'll be joined by the renowned award-winning architect, Ernest Wong, who will share his unique insights into the park's design.

Learn more about the festivities at the Ping Tom Park Advisory Council's Facebook page.
