Starting & Successfully Operating a Small Business - 2 Week Workshop Series

SCORE in partnership with the Wayne County Economic Development Department is offering a FREE 2 week workshop series. These workshops are part of the requirements for the Wayne County 2024 Pitch Contest. The contest is open only to Wayne County residents, but the workshops are open to all!

Dates: Saturday, September 7th and 14th

Time: 10:00am to 2:00pm

Location: Macedon Public Library, 30 W. Main Street, Macedon, NY 14502

In these workshops you will learn all the key areas in running and operating a small business.

Here is what will be covered in each session:

• September 7th: Peer to Peer, Business Model Canvas and Sales/Marketing
• September 14th: Financials and BAIL - Banking, Accounting, Insurance & Legal

There will be a Pitch Practice Session on Saturday, October 28th from 10:00-2:00

for those Wayne County residents that will be entering the 2024 Pitch Contest.
