March 14, 2026: Artist-in-Residence Workshop with Vanessa Maciel

Join us for a hands-on workshop! Vanessa Maciel is a local Mexican folk and visual artist who creates vibrant, community-driven installations. The workshop will include a short educational walk and instruction in traditional cartonería (papier-mâché). Ages 5+ (w/ adult) and all skill levels.

¡Únete a un taller práctico! Vanessa es una artista mexicana de arte folklórico y artes visuales que crea instalaciones vibrantes y centradas en la comunidad. El taller incluirá una caminata educativa y cartonería tradicional. Para edades 5+ y todos los niveles.

This event is free to attend, but registration is required. Donations to Friends of Red Rock will be graciously accepted at the event. No fee or reservations will be required to enter Red Rock Canyon NCA.
