This is an adventure hike designed for those who love getting out into nature. Expect uneven terrain, stairs, shallow stream crossings, and narrow canyon passages. You will get wet and muddy! Water crossings and damp canyon floors are all part of the experience, so we recommend wearing water shoes or sturdy footwear that can handle getting wet.
Your adventure begins at Starved Rock Lodge, where you'll meet your guide before enjoying complimentary transportation to and from Matthiessen State Park. Each guest will receive a snack, bottled water, and a souvenir drawstring backpack. |
