Research suggests that Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) impacts about 2 children out of every classroom yet there is still limited awareness of DLD. This presentation will provide a comprehensive explanation of DLD, including early signs, how it manifests in school age children, and its frequent co-occurrence with dyslexia. There will also be discussion of how to support children with DLD from parent and educator perspectives. |
