Dr. Paula Wilkes is an experienced educational therapist and coach for gifted children and adults at Summit Center, with 50 years of experience at both the public school and university level. Dr. Wilkes consulted on this study along with Dr. Carol Dweck. Lea Stublarec, MSW, is a researcher and PCI parent coach, with extensive experience at Berkeley Planning Associates, American Institutes of Research, and Stanford University. She served as the study's principal investigator and her findings are presented in The Perfect Storm, Book One of Legacy: Mothers of Gifted Daughters Share Their Wisdom.
Dr. Wilkes and Ms. Stublarec are themselves mothers of gifted daughters and bring both personal and professional expertise to this vital topic.
