| Bishop Susan Bell would like to invite the women of the Diocese of Niagara to join her on retreat this fall in Niagara-on-the-Lake, to explore the ways God is calling and equipping women to use their gifts, voices, and experiences in service of God's Church.
This gathering offers women across the diocese—lay and ordained—an opportunity to step away from the pace of everyday life, rest in God’s presence, and be renewed through prayer, conversation, and spiritual formation.
Led by Bishop Susan—in partnership with the Niagara School for Missional Leadership—the retreat will include a special lecture by the bishop, a moderated panel conversation with women ministry leaders, and opportunities for personal and small-group reflection. Through shared stories, prayer, and theological reflection, participants will explore how women’s leadership uniquely contributes to the Church’s capacity to engage its context and participate in God’s mission.
Held in recognition of the 50th Anniversary of the Ordination of Women in the Anglican Church of Canada, this retreat celebrates the faith, wisdom, and ministry of women while creating space to imagine the future of women’s leadership in the Church. Come and be refreshed, inspired, and strengthened as we listen for God’s call and discover anew the gifts God has entrusted to women for the life and mission of the Church.
More details about the retreat will be shared closer to the date. |
