| Event Details: Focusing on Balance of Plant best practices associated with water treatment, boiler feed water, ultra-pure water, condenser performance and emissions. The Southwest Power and Industrial Symposium is an event dedicated to providing power plant engineering and management with useful information to help optimize operations.
Traditionally, the event is attended by over 85 people representing nearly 70% of the MW in Texas. The goal of the conference is to have useful discussions on areas that significantly impact plant heat rate, availability, reliability, sustainability and effluent/emissions control. The conference will focus on technical discussions that include methods to understand, identify, quantify and implement projects that optimize the power plant in these areas. These technical discussions will be delivered by leaders in their field. There will also be time to network with other plant engineers and management and to learn about specific offerings from current and past co-sponsors of this event in an exhibit area with additional information and further technical discussion.
