Join us for our EPF Institute! This week-long, 40-hour Institute will equip educators with the tools, skills, and knowledge they need to effectively teach the new Economics and Personal Finance course. There will be interactive components and required deliverables each session. This professional development is facilitated by NCCEE.


Training will include:

  • Lesson plans that correlate to NC Economics and Personal Finance standards and utilize simulations, projects, in-class activities, online assignments, and games
  • Access to web-based resources with thousands of lesson plans and interactive resources
  • Industry expert Q&A panel
  • W!se Financial Literacy Certification
  • Certificates for 40 hours of high-quality professional development
  • $500 stipend upon successful completion OR up to $500 in substitute pay reimbursement for teachers attending while in school
  • *Please note: 12-month employees are not eligible to receive the stipend. They may receive sub pay reimbursement if they are currently teaching and require a sub.

This training is ONLY for North Carolina teachers who are teaching or slated to teach the required social studies Economics and Personal Finance course. If you are NOT slated to teach the social studies EPF course, please visit our website for other training options.
