| This five-day, 45-hour training evolution is designed to enhance the skills of professionals wanting to work in the field of Protective Services (Sgt-at-Arms, Dignitary Protection) in a collaborative and professional learning environment. The training will focus on advanced driving techniques, protective shooting fundamentals, field medical response, and core principles of Protective Security Details (PSD), including dignitary escorts and site advances. It emphasizes the seamless integration of these skills to safeguard high-profile individuals under both routine and dynamic conditions.
Participants will engage in practical exercises and live-fire scenarios, complemented by critical medical training based on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) principles. The curriculum also includes comprehensive instruction on PSD operations, covering topics such as advance work, route planning, motorcade operations, site security assessments, and close protection techniques. Hands-on exercises will reinforce the best practices for security formations, protective movements, and emergency contingency planning.
Guided by seasoned instructors, including a tactical paramedic, fosters an atmosphere of shared knowledge and skill-building. Participants are encouraged to learn from each other while refining their individual capabilities.
