| The Tampa Bay Seagrass Transect Training will be held on June 18, 2026 from 9am-12pm at the Sunshine Skyway Bridge North Rest Area by the USCGC Blackthorn Memorial. There will be no hands on "training" during this event, but instead the focus of this event will be on intercalibrating the surveyors of the Tampa Bay Interagency Seagrass Transect Monitoring Program.
We will NOT go over the monitoring protocol during this event.
Please bring the following materials to the training:
- Mask, snorkel, booties (NO fins)
- Weight belt
- Ruler
- Datasheet, pencils, clipboard OR cell phone with access to Data Entry Portal
- Snacks, water, other personal field day supplies
