Rocky Mountain HIDTA 2026 Youth Prevention Institute

Join us September 15th and 16th for an inspiring and impactful gathering of professionals dedicated to building protective factors in their communities through connection and health-promoting relationships with youth.

This event is hosted by the Rocky Mountain HIDTA in partnership with ADAPT, the Overdose Response Strategy, Utah Department of Public Safety, University of Utah Department of Public Safety and HEART Extension, Utah National Guard, Center for Behavioral Health Integration, and Child and Adolescent Health Measurement Initiative.

The Youth Prevention Institute at the University of Utah will be held in the Douglass Ballroom at the University Guest House.


Free parking is available for event attendees. Parking near the University Guest House is limited, so attendees are encouraged to park at no cost on Level 4 of the Shoreline Parking Garage, located approximately a 5-minute walk from the University Guest House.

There are no hotel blocks for this event. Food and drink are on your own. During the event, a list of nearby food options will be provided to facilitate your lunch plans. On-campus options are also available.
