Are you looking for a way to navigate your grief and find peace within?
Join us for a 3-day Virtual Yoga for Grief Relief Retreat, designed to help you reconnect, process and release.
Why 'Yoga'...?
While traditional talk therapy is valuable for working through emotions, yoga offers some distinct and powerful benefits:
Embodied Healing: Grief doesn't just live in the mind—it also takes up space in the body. Yoga helps release physical tension and stress that words alone may not reach.
Grounding in the Present: Through mindful movement and conscious breathing, yoga can create a sense of calm and stability, helping you feel more centered in the here and now.
Silent Expression: When grief feels too overwhelming to articulate, yoga offers a way to process emotions without having to speak—a quiet, internal path toward processing.
Whole-Self Support: By addressing the body, mind, and spirit together, yoga provides a more holistic way of navigating grief—fostering balance, integration, and self-awareness.
Letting Go with Love: Rooted in the understanding that all things are temporary, yoga invites you to hold love deeply while learning to release the need for permanence.
Why choose a retreat...?
In the busyness of daily life, it’s easy to push aside the time we need for real reflection and processing. A retreat offers the space—and the stillness—to step away from routine and gently turn inward. It creates a supportive, structured environment where you can explore your grief among others who are on a similar journey. With shared understanding and clear group guidelines, a sense of safety and trust naturally begins to form.
This retreat weaves together thoughtful discussions about the nature of grief with experiential practices—both individual and in groups. Through guided exercises, you’ll have the opportunity to explore your own emotional responses and begin to understand how to meet them with care and clarity. We also focus on how grief reshapes identity, helping you begin to discover who you are now in the wake of loss.
Each day includes a dedicated yoga practice designed specifically to support the themes of the retreat. Group sessions follow, offering space to share insights and experiences. Additional practices are introduced throughout the day, and we take time to reflect on their impact, encouraging deeper integration and personal meaning.
Who is this retreat for...?
TThis retreat is open to anyone navigating grief—whether you're dealing with a recent loss or revisiting something from the past. Grief isn’t always tied to death, and whatever form your loss takes, you are welcome here.
The practices we offer are adaptable for all bodies and abilities. Whether you're looking for tools to help you live with grief or you're simply curious about finding a new relationship to your loss, this retreat provides a supportive space to explore that journey.
It’s also a space for those who walk alongside others in grief—counselors, caregivers, friends, or family members—especially those who may struggle to prioritize their own healing. If you're often holding space for others, this retreat invites you to receive support, gain new insights, and reconnect with your own well-being.
For professionals hoping to bring these tools into their work, this retreat serves as a meaningful first step. Yoga for Grief Relief Virtual Retreat June 27 - 29, 2025
In these times of shared global grief, we may find ourselves mourning not only loved ones, but also lost relationships, careers, or dreams. Grief touches every part of life. Though often seen as purely emotional, it also leaves physical, social, spiritual, and mental imprints.
This retreat blends yoga and somatic psychology to support grievers through movement, breath, and self-reflection. Combining theory with embodied experience, it’s for anyone grieving any kind of loss — or for those supporting others.
No yoga experience needed — only a willingness to be present for your grieving heart.
