Those in health care & social services, are often in a unique position. Clients treat them like family or friends; employers want them to work efficiently. They must balance the differing expectations while getting their jobs done to everyone’s satisfaction. This workshop will discuss strategies for establishing & maintaining appropriate boundaries. It will provide discussions about disclosure of personal information, accepting gifts, handling violations of personal space, maintaining effective confidentiality, & moving on after a death or loss.

HCBS Case Manager - LSW/RN/LPN

The Home and Community Based Services Case Manager is expected to manage and coordinate comprehensive services and assure that they are appropriate and meet the needs of the consumer/member to support them with the highest quality of life possible while remaining safely in a community/home setting of their choice.

 

Applicant must be a Registered Nurse, Licensed Social Worker, or Licensed Practical Nurse with current, unencumbered license, with at least one-year prior experience in home health care, medical social work and/or geriatrics.
