Following several years of enjoying our Photo Workshops in Savannah, after last year's visit we've come to realize that early Spring is simply the best time to visit here! Spring in Savannah is a wonderful time with so much to experience and photograph. The weather is pleasant (daytime highs mid 70s, lows in the upper 50's), the trees are filled with leaves, the Spanish moss decorates the branches, the fountains anchor the squares and the food here is amazing.
This Photo Tour and Workshop is a combination of portrait, architecture, design details and landscape shooting around town, at the beach and in the country. This will include visits to the Tybee Island Lighthouse and Beach Pier, the Historic Riverfront and of course, the beautiful Savannah Historic District. We’ll also have live models as we explore off-camera flash for beautiful portraits that will apply to any type of portrait you might want to take - from family photos to professional headshots.
We will plan some downtime for exploring this beautiful town and have some great restaurant visits including a tour of the historic area. You’re sure to head home with a lot of great photos you’ll want to display and your knowledge of photography will be expanded.
Transportation, lodging and food are not included, but we have made arrangements with our headquarters hotels for a special rate. We are staying at the Hampton Inn Historic District and will send you details and rates upon registration.
Registration is limited, so get your spot now! A deposit of $295 will hold your space.
And by the way, spouses/partners are welcome to join us at no charge for all of our touring! |
