The Case for RED Lighting in the Outdoors at Night


A review of the impacts of RED Light on fauna and the natural environment based on a survey of some of the most recent literature on the subject.

Kevin Rose brings 20 years of experience in the architectural lighting industry and currently represents Selux, overseeing the Canadian market and the state of Colorado. His career spans international and North American markets, giving him a broad perspective on lighting design, specification, and application across a wide range of architectural and urban environments.


Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Kevin has worked across global markets before relocating to the United States in 2013. Since then, he has developed a strong understanding of the North American lighting landscape and built lasting relationships with architects, lighting designers, and engineers. Based in Boulder, Colorado, Kevin enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle and draws ongoing inspiration from both the built and natural environments—insights he brings into every conversation about lighting, design, and place.
