Batik is a wax and Dye process used for decorating fabric. It’s identifying characteristics is crackly lines created where the wax cracks and allows the dye to penetrate. Students are invited to learn the basic steps, or to continue to improve their skills in the batik process. Students should wear old clothes and bring a plastic bag for wet projects.
