| Join San Damiano College for the Trades and One Dance at a Time for a fun filled evening of dancing, no prior experience needed.
Maria, assisted by our dance corps, will be teaching group waltz, fox trot, swing, contra, and line dances. There will also be plenty of open dance time, with Maria and the dance corps available to help.
Please read the following important details:
Ages: This is an adult (18+) event with babysitting available for young children. Teens aged 15-17 may attend in the company of their parent(s).
A note regarding our venue:
We will provide light snacks, water and iced tea.
This will be a dry event. We kindly ask that no alcohol be brought on campus grounds, this includes no alcohol being kept in cars in the parking lot. As this is not a drinking establishment with its own licensing and bar tender, having alcohol present greatly increases our cost and liability to hold this event. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Attire: Modest Sunday best. While this is not a formal event we are trying to restore the culture by bringing back class and decorum so we kindly ask everyone to please respect the following:
Please no shorts, jeans, t-shirts, or exercise clothes.
Gentlemen: please wear your favorite suit and tie.
Ladies: we kindly ask that ladies wear modest skirts and dresses with hemlines that at a minimum fall just below the knee covering the entire thigh. Please refrain from wearing skin-tight, see-through, low-cut, or super-short clothing items. Please also be sure to wear shorts that cover your thigh under your flowy skirt or dress, please no volleyball type shorts. Slits on skirts and dresses should not be above the knee.
If you are bringing guests please be sure to communicate this to them, we don't want anyone feeling embarrassed for not being dressed appropriately.
Cover Charge: Cash is preferred but we can also accept payment via Zelle which can be sent to Mrs. Garcia via 817-751-0654. $15/individual $25/couple $40/family cap (parent(s) with more than one teen aged 15-17)
