Mr. Z: What Happens Early in Life Lasts a Lifetime*

"Mr. Z ..." explores the life and career of St. Louis's celebrated early-childhood educator and leader, Stephen Zwolak, whose own early life experiences in a rough Philadelphia neighborhood propelled him to devote his life's work to early childhood education. The film underscores Zwolak's lifelong commitment to giving young children love, encouragement and the sense of belonging.

Running time: 30 minutes. Discussion follows. Immediately following our showing, St. Louis Post-Dispatch Columnist-Feature Writer, Aisha Sultan, converses with Zwolak, Langsam Shumam and Pat Holterman-Hommes, President & CEO, Youth In Need
