John's Garden Garden Two
Our house was built in 1927 with a little over one acre. We bought the house in 2010 and moved here when I retired in 2016. The property has a mature oak pine forest with many understory trees, shrubs and plants. There are large outcroppings and a slope of 200 feet from our upper yard. We are fortunate to have some stone paths that allow movement throughout the property. You will see many mature native trees, bushes and ferns along our paths. One feather is a stone wall built during the Civil War constructed by troops camped in the area. Note the beautiful native gardens at two neighbors - one at the old church on N. Bragg and W. Sunset and the second on the corner of N. Forrest and W. Sunset - this yard has a large native garden installed last Fall. I will provide more information on these two lovely yards that you can see from the street. Also, we have a wonderful 'Food Forest' off the parking lot at Good Shepherd.
