Off Duty September 2024: Two Selfless Loudoun Leaders

Two of LoCos most respected residents, George C. Marshall and Dr. Claude Moore, shared a dedication to selfless public service and philanthropy. Both men were World War I veterans and came away from the conflict understanding their duty to serve their nation.

Off Duty is a speaker series hosted by the Marshall Center. Events feature a speaker discussing topics that touch on history adjacent to George C. Marshall. Runtime: 90 min.

Free Parking is available in the parking lot St. James Church and the Leesburg Senior Center, which is a short walk from the church.

Open House at St. James Church - Join us at 5:30 PM to learn more about the historic church and General Marshall's connection to it. Four Marshall Center docents will host short presentations on the history of the church, the stained glass windows, the artifacts of the church and General Marshall's attendance.
