As a result of this event, participants will:

  • Understand the social service delivery system in Butler County
  • Make better referrals
  • Develop relationships 
  • Better serve families and children



Who Should Attend: Butler County agency employees who are new in a role in which they assist families/consumers in accessing social services. This event is limited to 35 participants. Due to the limited size of the event no students, interns or agency employees outside of Butler County are permitted unless there is extra space.


Additional Information: Light snacks will be provided. You are welcome to bring your lunch and eat during the event. No CEUs are provided for this series, participants can receive a certificate of completion if requested.

Tuesday, April 30th 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm:

We will meet at Ohio Means Jobs 4631 Dixie Hwy, Fairfield, OH 45014. You will receive a tour of the building, network with other participants and hear presentations from multiple agencies.

Tuesday, May 7th 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm:

We will meet at the Community First Solutions building in downtown Hamilton 230 Ludlow St, Hamilton, OH 45011. We will hear presentations from several organizations and then do a couple of walking tours. Dress for the weather and wear walking shoes. You will walk outside several blocks during the day or you can drive your own personal vehicle if needed.

Tuesday, May 14th 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm:

We will meet at the Butler County Educational Service Center 400 N. Erie Blvd. Ste. A., Hamilton, OH 45011. You will hear presentations from several agencies. You will then drive to Sojourner Recovery Services and The Butler County Juvenile Justice Center for tours and presentations.
