Bishop David L. Toups grew up in Louisiana and Florida and was ordained as a priest in 1997 in St. Petersburg FL. Bishop Toups was installed the sixth bishop of the Diocese of Beaumont, TX on August 20, 2020. Bishop Toups is the Spiritual Advisor for the Central Service Team of Magnificat a Ministry to Catholic women since October 5, 2017.
Bishop Toups has written two books: Reclaiming Our Priestly Character (2008) and The Priest We Need: A Rector Speaks to His Seminarians (2019) both by IPF Publications. |
