Module #6

with Jack Bryant, Mona Lewis and Terra Malmstrom

Anthroposophy

Core Principle 6 Relationships

Enduring human relationships between students and their teachers are essential and irreplaceable. The task of all teachers is to work with the developing individuality of each student and with each class as a whole. Truly human pedagogical relationships gain in depth and stability when they are cultivated over many years. They cannot be replaced by instruction utilizing computers or other electronic means. Healthy working relationships with parents and colleagues are also essential to the well-being of the class community and the school.

Hard Crafts

Hard Crafts: In module #6 we work with high school curriculum; basic metal smithing, working with iron, copper and silver. We make decorative hooks, simple vessels, bowls, ladles and spoons.

Soft Crafts

Soft Crafts: In module #6 we create a 3-dimensional pattern, cut and sewn into a chosen animal using simple sewing for 6th grade curriculum. Second project is a Waldorf style doll.

Course Fee: $710 (plus $85 materials fee for soft crafts)

(hard crafts materials are paid separately during the course)
