Bishop Susan Bell is excited to welcome you to the 2026 Bishop's Company Annual Fundraising Dinner, taking place on Thursday, May 28, at Carmens Event Centre (1520 Stone Church Road East, Hamilton). During the event the bishop will be in conversation with Archbishop Shane Parker, 15th Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada.
The Bishop’s Company provides resources that help the bishop respond compassionately and strategically to the urgent needs of our diocesan leaders, as well as respond to the needs of fellow siblings in Christ within our diocese and beyond.
This support takes many forms, including:
relief from extraordinary financial hardship
assisting with unexpected medical and dental costs,
compassionate care in the wake of an unexpected death.
Since the Bishop Company's beginnings, the many members have provided generously and with care through the Bishop’s Company Endowment Fund. Each year, individuals or couples are invited to renew their membership. New memberships are also encouraged through individuals who attend as guests at the Bishop’s Company Dinner and additional events.
Members make an annual contribution of $275/individual or $500/couple in support of the bishop's important pastoral ministry. Membership also comes with an invitation to the annual gathering with the bishop.
