| Event Basics: For the final competition of the Willamette River Festival, we'll be running a low-stakes event to see who can flip over a 14' raft the fastest. Teams of two will swim out to a raft in the River House eddy, climb in, flip it over, flip it right side up again, and climb back on top. Our judges will time each attempt to see who earns the (somewhat dubious) title of Best Raft Flipper. If you've never flipped a raft or even stepped foot in a raft, you're still welcome to join -- not knowing exactly what you're doing can make it even more fun!
When and Where: Competitors should arrive at the River House Beach beginning at 5:00pm to participate. This will be a drop-in event; teams can participate at any time between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. We will be have two rafts set up for the competition, and on-site registrants are welcome to participate.
What to Bring:
- Swimsuit, synthetic layers, or other suitable river apparel
- PFD / life jacket

- Participants can bring their own equipment or borrow PFDs and helmets from the River House Outdoor Center
