WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and Willamette Kayak & Canoe Club for a paddling cleanup effort from Clearwater Park to Aspen Street boat ramp. This is a "bring your own boat" event - so if you aren't planning on paddling your own boat, and know a friend with a tandem kayak, canoe, drift boat or raft, hop in with them! PFDs required!
WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, October 19th, 2024 | 10AM-1PM Please arrive early at Clearwater Park boat landing to unload - PLEASE BE SELF SHUTTLED AND READY TO LAUNCH by 10AM!
DETAILS: Please be on time - we will run a shuttle for those in need first thing, followed by a safety briefing and clean up plan before heading out. Please dress for the weather (and the water!), bring water, and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes. Willamette Riverkeeper will provide trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers. PFDs are required and must be worn at all times on the river to participate in this event.
BYOB? Please be proficient paddling in Class II moving water for this river segment.
