This session will explore why driving evaluations are an important part of care planning for individuals living with dementia. Participants will learn strategies for discussing driving safety with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals while approaching these conversations with empathy and respect. The session will also highlight local resources to support informed decision-making.

Dr. Margaret O'Connor is a neuropsychologist and Associate Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School specializing in memory, aging, and neurodegenerative diseases.
