About the Conference

Each year PACD members and partners come together at the PACD/SCC Joint Annual Conference to meet, learn, and build partnerships.

 

Conservation districts are the local boots on the ground for conservation activities like abandoned mine drainage and reclamation, erosion and sedimentation pollution control, forest management, nutrient management, and stormwater management. As a conference sponsor, you'll have the opportunity to speak with conservation district management staff who oversee projects and purchases for conservation districts across the state.

 

You'll also have direct contact with conservation district board members who are farmers and landowners, county commissioners, and members of watershed groups and land conservancies. These members of the public volunteer their time to govern their local county conservation district and its activities, and help guide the district's priorities.

Conference Agenda and Exhibit Hours

The conference agenda is currently under development and will be posted when conference registration opens in April.


Gold and Silver Sponsors receive a six-foot draped table (or space for a free-standing exhibit) at the conference. Sponsors are welcome to exhibit on Wednesday, Thursday, or both days. Exhibit set-up is Wednesday, July 16, from 8-9 AM. Tear-down time is flexible.

Hotel Policies to Note:

  • Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m.
  • Cancellation policy: Reservations are refundable if cancelled outside 7 days of arrival. Cancellations for individual guest rooms made within 7 days of arrival will result in a cancellation fee equal to the entire reservations period and all applicable taxes and fees. Any deposits received will be utilized towards said cancellation fee and any outstanding balance will be charged to the credit card on file.
