About the Conference Each year PACD members and partners come together at the PACD/SCC Joint Annual Conference to meet, learn, and build partnerships. Conservation districts are the local boots on the ground for conservation activities like abandoned mine drainage and reclamation, erosion and sedimentation pollution control, forest management, nutrient management, and stormwater management. As a conference sponsor, you'll have the opportunity to speak with conservation district management staff who oversee projects and purchases for conservation districts across the state. You'll also have direct contact with conservation district board members who are farmers and landowners, county commissioners, and members of watershed groups and land conservancies. These members of the public volunteer their time to govern their local county conservation district and its activities, and help guide the district's priorities. Please take a look at the many benefits we offer our conference sponsors below. If you have any questions, or would like additional information, please feel free to contact conference coordinator Molly Burns at mburns@pacd.org. |
