DESCRIPTION:This training explores the unique role of peer supporters within interdisciplinary teams and strategies for collaborating effectively without losing the peer voice. Participants will examine ways to build credibility\, communicate confidently with clinical and other providers\, advocate for participants\, and clearly communicate the value of peer support. The session will address workplace hierarchy\, recovery-oriented approaches in clinical settings\, and using lived experience appropriately to strengthen team-based care\, participant engagement\, and professional relationships.
