The DEI Committee presents a virtual discussion about the book, When Driving Is Not an Option by Anna Zivarts. Through the perspectives of people who cannot or do not drive, Zivarts challenges the assumption that driving is the default mode of transportation and explores how transportation systems can create barriers to opportunity, independence, and inclusion. The book encourages readers to rethink accessibility, mobility, and equity in the communities we build and serve. Join us for this virtual discussion on September 30th from 5:30–7:00 PM! |
