DESCRIPTION:Join us for an engaging\, practical training exploring Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) through a neurodiversity-affirming\, relationship-centered play therapy lens.\n\nChildren with PDA profiles may experience significant anxiety around everyday expectations\, resulting in avoidance\, emotional dysregulation\, shutdowns\, or meltdowns. This workshop will help child and play therapists look beyond challenging behaviors to better understand children's underlying needs and strengthen therapeutic connections.
