The Queer Archive for Memory, Reflection and Activism (QAMRA) is a growing multimedia repository of materials from queer andtrans movements in India. It is one of several queer and trans archival initiatives in India. Based at the National Law School of India University in Bangalore, it houses multimedia materials from activists who have been part of Indian LGBTQI+ mobilizing for more than 30 years, and from documentation of campaigns to make Indian law more expansive on questions of sexuality and gender identity. |
