Or are you a local professional or entrepreneur interested in meeting the next generation of SLU students and emerging leaders? Speed Networking is an opportunity for students from across SLU to connect with professionals from a variety of industries through a series of short, focused conversations. Whether you’re looking for career advice, exploring a business idea, practicing your elevator pitch, or simply interested in meeting new people, this event is a chance to make meaningful connections and learn from experienced professionals.
Each student will have the opportunity to meet with approximately 10–15 mentors for five minutes each. While the conversations are brief, they can be the start of lasting professional relationships, mentorship opportunities, and valuable connections. Stick around after the networking sessions for a casual reception where you can continue the conversation, meet other students and professionals, and enjoy complimentary food and drinks.
