DESCRIPTION:In this expansive full-day session\, Atty. Erin D. Gilsbach will provide a thorough and in-depth analysis of the law regarding special education discipline.  She will discuss the requirements set forth under the IDEA and Section 504 as well as relevant state law requirements and considerations.  She will also review relevant caselaw as it pertains to the discipline of students with disabilities. This comprehensive session will provide educators and school leaders with the tools that they need to understand the law and comply with its many complexities.
