We'll begin with a morning of self-care offering newcomers exposure to the fundamental practices and principles of mindfulness and give established practitioners the opportunity to refresh or take a deeper dive. The remaining Intensive will instill the experience and confidence to help participants facilitate mindfulness practices with children and youth. Participants will explore leading formal practices using age-appropriate scripts and learn how to integrate mindfulness skills by inserting small moments of awareness during a class period, a therapeutic encounter or a school day. |
