Workshop: Canva Basics

Have you heard of Canva but don’t quite know where to start? This session is for you! We’ll take an hour to dive into the basics of Canva, so you can take advantage of its capabilities to help elevate your organization. Immediately following the interactive presentation, you’ll have a work session to try out the platform independently and ask questions as you go.

Canva is an online design and visual communication platform with a mission to empower everyone in the world to design anything and publish anywhere. This free tool allows you to easily create and develop branding and marketing tools for your website, publications, social media, and more. As a bonus, eligible nonprofits can apply to get access to premium features. You can see more at https://www.canva.com/canva-for-nonprofits/.

You are encouraged to create a free account (personal or work) prior to the workshop if you don’t already have an account set up. Please bring a device with you to practice in the system during the workshop.

This is a virtual workshop.
