Assessment to Action: Using Informal Data to Drive Instruction

In this engaging session, participants will explore how informal assessment can be used to drive student achievement. We will examine a variety of tools to assess phonemic awareness, decoding, encoding, and fluency, while also exploring effective ways to collect and analyze progress monitoring data. Together, we will focus on using assessment information to make informed instructional decisions and continually ask, “What is my next best move for this student?”
