Workshop: Advocacy 101: Is Your Nonprofit Ready?

Advocacy is one of the most powerful ways nonprofits can amplify their mission and create lasting change—but many organizations aren’t sure where to start. This interactive workshop introduces nonprofit professionals to the basics of advocacy, clarifies the distinction between advocacy and lobbying, and outlines the rules every nonprofit should be aware of. Participants will complete a practical Advocacy Readiness Checklist to assess their organization’s strengths and gaps, and they’ll leave with concrete next steps to build advocacy into their work.

By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with greater confidence, a clearer understanding of what advocacy looks like for your nonprofit, and a personalized action step to move your organization forward.
