About the OnRamp Hub: Ohio

A national network of OnRamp Hubs are the front door to defense innovation for DoD, bringing academic, business and defense organizations together to develop solutions that solve DoD problems and transition technologies. The overall mission of the Hubs is to leverage the United States' technology innovation potential to solve the Department's tough operational, engineering, and mission-focused challenges.

The Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub: Ohio brings key stakeholders from technology providers, operations, and acquisitions to navigate the defense innovation ecosystem and facilitate transition with the following five objectives

• Connections: Support educational and networking events to build connections in the Defense Industrial Base, build trust as a front door to the Defense Innovation Base in the State of Ohio, and build sociotechnical networks that can be leveraged to provide solutions to DoD
• Operations: Build programming to identify, scope, and address vetted mission challenges and requirements
• Innovation: Scout and exchange technology to identify and nurture novel technology using the OnRamp Hub: Ohio’s analytics capabilities and networks across the State of Ohio.
• Opportunities: Work with government and private partners to identify funding (or a path to funding) for solutions.
• Growth: Support companies to excel as exemplary defense contractors and scale to thrive in their dual-use markets.
