Greetings & Happy New Year Anaina Hou ʻOhana!

Our fourth Social Awareness Film Festival (SAFF) is coming up in February, and we will focus on our own dear mother…Mother Earth that is! To honor our natural world, we will screen films that celebrate her beauty, power, and mystery, and how close we are to losing some of our most incredible resources. One amazing film will be romantic in nature: one of the hottest love affairs ever known, and another special film will have us rethinking our buying habits to help minimize the stress in our world. The kicker is that the film has a challenge…and herein lies a potential resolution that I am asking you to join me on!

I am committing to getting rid of one item every day, for an entire year, AND for every new thing I feel I need to buy, I am going to repurpose/rehome/recycle two others. If you make this pledge with me you will be entered into a monthly drawing for AHCP goodies (think tickets to our events). The caveat is that you must be willing to be interviewed (and ideally photographed) by Jaxon Communication. Your story and potentially your progress over the year will be posted on our social channels. What do you say? A resolution that makes a difference beyond ourselves! Plan to join us at SAFF February 16th – 18th & 23rd – 25th and make sure to stay tuned for the lineup of films!

This year SAFF will be completely free…every film, every person (you must register though: seating is limited so it is important to sign up early)! Let us know if you have any questions at [email protected]

May all your dreams come true in 2023!

Hau 'oli Makahiki Hou!
