At Kwik BagIt we are committed to reducing the amount of single-use plastic bags that are plugging up our landfills and polluting our waterways These bags are terrible for the environment and effect the health of wildlife, fish and humans. It takes over 100 years for a plastic bag to decompose and when they finally do, they breakdown into tiny particles that are eaten by plankton, which feed the fish and wildlife and eventually the plastic gets into humans. It's not a surprise that colon cancer rates are on a rise.

The average household (with 4 people) will use 60 single - use plastic bags per year, for collecting their cans and bottles destined for the provincial recycling depots. For those that have yard-work clean-up, about the same amount is used to collect compostable debris in their gardens and yard. debris in the to Municipalities are beginning to set in motion the ban of these unnecessary bags. That's a cost of over $ 60.00 per year that once you use them you can't get them back and that's money that is just being thrown away. With inflation on the rise - it will only cost more next year.
