The organization was founded in 1983 as St. Martin’s Barn by the Benedictine Sisters of Ridgely, Maryland. A non-denominational non-profit that has served the poor and homeless on the Eastern Shore for nearly 40 years, Martin’s House & Barn helps clients find resources to overcome barriers to self-sufficiency while providing essential shelter, food, and clothing to those in need. Offering a Family Shelter, an Emergency Food Pantry, a Thrift Shop, and Homelessness Prevention Services, Martin’s House & Barn has transformed thousands of lives.

Partners In Care is a private non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization offering programs and services that support the independence of older adults age 60-years-old and older in our communities. We accomplish this through a unique culture of service exchange where members volunteer their time and talents to help each other with neighborly services such as transportation, handyman repairs, person-centered support, and social engagement. In exchange, members ask for assistance when needed.

Partners in Care are looking to start a business to business exchange. They are currently looking for a printer.
