NH Home Visiting Learning Hub:

Scholarship Information and Resources

Welcome to the New Hampshire Home Visiting Learning Hub Scholarship Information and Resources Page! The Learning Hub is pleased to provide training and conference scholarships for Comprehensive Family Support Services, Healthy Families America, Kinship Navigation, and Newborn Navigation programs!

Scholarships will be released on a rolling basis for conferences and trainings. Announcements for new opportunities will be sent via email and in the monthly e-newsletter.

A few important reminders:

  • Scholarships will be added below as they become available
  • Applications may be only available to certain programs and may be prioritized by staff role
  • Applications must be approved by the applicant’s supervisor

We will keep this page updated with new opportunities as they arise, so be sure to check back regularly.

Scholarship Process

Most scholarships will require an application. Applications will ask for general applicant information, supervisor permission, and several questions to gauge scholarship interest and need. Standard application questions include:

  • What is the local community need that you will be addressing by attending this conference/training?
  • What personal or professional experience makes you an exceptional candidate to attend this conference/training?
  • How will this conference/training support your own professional development and job performance?
  • What is your proposed plan to share information you learn at the conference/training with fellow home visiting staff to help foster their professional development?

The Learning Hub and state teams will review applications and will follow-up via email with applicants with further instructions if the scholarship has been approved.

It is important to note that some scholarships will have a set payment type of reimbursement or upfront payment. If no option is listed for the scholarship type, applicants may be able to choose their preferred option. Please reach out to cara.griffith@jsi.org with any questions.
