Columbus-based ServiceMaster Recovery Management operator enters its second major Ohio market and adds five counties around Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio, [September 29, 2026] — ServiceMaster by Neverman, a Columbus-based ServiceMaster Restore® franchise, today announced its expansion to Cleveland with a new ServiceMaster Restore franchise license for the city's west side and western Cuyahoga County, extending its commercial and large-loss restoration platform to Northeast Ohio. The company has also expanded its Central Ohio territory by five counties.

The Cleveland license, acquired from ServiceMaster Brands, gives ServiceMaster by Neverman a platform in one of Ohio's largest commercial markets. The company will offer Cleveland-area property owners, insurance carriers and facility managers the same services it provides in Central Ohio, supported by relationships in the insurance and property management community that Ken Neverman has built over more than two decades. It will begin serving the market immediately from its Columbus operations and plans to establish a local office and team as operations build. The move also returns Ken Neverman to the west side of Cleveland, where he grew up and where his family remains today.

In Central Ohio, the company's 2025 expansion added Licking, Fairfield, Pickaway, Madison and Union counties to its Columbus territory, supported by satellite offices in Newark and Lancaster, giving ServiceMaster by Neverman coverage across the greater Columbus region.

The expansion builds on the company's designation earlier this year as a ServiceMaster Recovery Management (SRM) location, announced by ServiceMaster Restore in April 2026. SRM is ServiceMaster's network of large-loss and commercial restoration providers, which ServiceMaster reports now includes more than 400 locations nationwide.

ServiceMaster by Neverman's large-loss teams have responded to commercial losses in 12 states since 2022, including hurricane response in Florida and New Jersey, giving the company mobilization experience that few Ohio-based restoration contractors can offer.
